Marion discovered osteopathy after seeing numerous other health professions for sporting injuries and ongoing postural pain associated with desk-based work. Marion was astounded at how much she improved under the care of her osteopath who listened and worked with her to treat and manage her conditions while helping her understand and connect with her body.
Marion is passionate about empowering you to return to optimal function. She takes a thorough health history to understand the origin and impact of your condition, and works with you to create an individual management plan that suits your lifestyle. She uses a range of hands-on treatment techniques in combination with education, ergonomic and lifestyle modifications, and simple stretches and exercise tailored to help you reach your goals.
Marion has completed a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) at Victoria University. While studying, Marion taught first year students in the Anatomy Lab at Victoria University. She is a qualified Sports Trainer and has worked with AFL and roller derby athletes, and her Masters project explored injury prevention knowledge and behaviour of roller derby skaters across Australia.
Marion is a passionate lifelong learner, and believes education is at the heart of growth – she is excited to be completing further education in paediatrics and Osteopathy in the Cranial Field. When she is not helping patients or delving into further osteopathic knowledge, Marion enjoys Pilates, roller derby, crochet, and hanging out with her cats. Appointments are available with Marion Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
